Cleto Acosta-McKillop

Cleto is a Paraguayan-American animation director and story artist. He was born in Asuncion, Paraguay and studied 2D traditional animation at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in Wisconsin. He co-founded the animation collective Sugar Animation and has written, directed, animated and visually developed short films. Noteworthy among his achievements are the critically acclaimed animated shorts 'Moon Melody', 'The Little Things' and 'Kintsugi', all recipients of multiple prestigious awards.  Cleto's artistic endeavors are characterized by its remarkable ability to evoke a profound sense of wonder, forging a seamless bridge between reality and fantasy.
